CISP endorses the Position Paper of the EEA - European Enamel Association.

The Position Paper demands the inclusion of hafnium (HfO2) in the positive list relating to the composition of porcelain enamels.

The Position Paper also reports a technical note on operating temperatures, considered penalizing with the current classification which identifies 70°C as the separation threshold between medium and high temperatures, with a proposal to raise the limit to 80°C.
